Male gaze is when the media text is created in a certain way to fit to the position of an 'appraising hetero male.' They use techniques like lots of POV shots and close-ups of explicit body imagery. Best seen in the Cabin in the Woods scene when Jules and Curt are having sex in the forest and you see Jules in a very degrading light.
